Barrett Family Christmas

Hey guys!! Ah! It has been so insanely long since I have been able to post & I apologize! Between filming Roommates on Elm Street in Owosso, MI (more about that coming in 2015!! Stay tuned!), and the holidays there really just not a free moment for me to sit down and collect my thoughts! That said, I hope ALL of you had a fantastic holiday season. I know I did & I am so looking forward to everything 2015 will bring! Now since most people I know go home for Christmas (myself included) this post won't be about Christmas in LA because that simply just is not something I have experienced. BUT here is a little inside look at my life when I go home to my Dad's house in Palm Beach, Florida.

Take a look into my private family Christmas album, from the baking with my little sister, to getting dressed up for Christmas mass, the gifts, and goofing off on Christmas morning! & Yes, Emily.... if you steal my camera to take selfies, I WILL post them online. #loveyouSissy

Christmas cookie baking has always been a favorite tradition of mine!

We usually keep Christmas fairly casual at our house, but on Christmas Eve we always dress up just a little bit to attend Christmas Mass & take family photos beforehand- later we head home and enjoying our yearly Christmas Eve meal of Crab legs with butter & lemon, Strawberry Arugula salad, and Grilled Steak. It is my favorite meal of the year.

Oh Elf, you're so hilarious.

On Christmas morning we usually wake up fairly early- luckily since my little sister is now 14- the days of waking up at the ass crack of sawn see what Santa brought are over. Thank God.

So what was on my Christmas list this year?

This year I have been really into cooking & have been texting my dad non-stop to send me photos of MY step-mom's recipe cards. So they got me the CUTEST recipe box from Anthropologie

I am also really into taking care of my skin and having nice lotions, soaps, etc so I was given a Clarisonic Mia & lots of lotions and oils from L'occitane

My little sister got me an amazing smelling Anthropologie candle & the most gorgeous journal because I absolutely LOVE to write when I'm on set.

They also spoiled me with a new bottle of my signature scent, Tom Ford Black Orchid & Lena Dunham's new book "Not That Kind of Girl" which I can't wait to read on my upcoming travels!

I hope everyone else's Christmas was filled with as much cheer as mine was! Now for a spectacular NYE & on to 2015!!!
