One of my favorite things about Los Angeles is the fact that it is such a CASUAL place, multi million dollar business deals are done in jeans, and even on a night out no one would judge you for wearing black pants with a leather jacket and heels. I love being able to wake up, throw on a comfortable tee (like this one from WildFox) with some cute pants , a hat and booties and call it a day. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE to dress up- but I hate HAVING to dress up. Not only do I need to be in the mood for it, I'm also usually in a HUGE rush to get to set at heinously early call times OR going from one audition to the next OR possibly using my day off to blog, buy groceries, get lunch and catch up with friends , so not only do I rarely have more than 45 minutes to shower, get ready, eat some yogurt and down a coffee- I also need to be comfortable. Today's post features photos from a recent shoot with AMAZING photographer (and a good friend of mine) Ilse Helgen that show a cute, super casual, yet pulled-together look that we created on a moments notice. The best part? The whole outfit cost under $100- The wildfox tee was thrifted from Crossroads Trading, the pants were $15 from Target, the Booties were $32 from H&M, and the hat was $30 from American Apparel- Pop on a colored lip to look as if you tried EXTRA hard when really- you kind of just rolled out of bed. Woops.
